Description
The Flexographic Press Manager oversees the hourly workforce to ensure the printing and assembly of the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, while meeting company standards for quality and performance, and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for:
- Prioritizing schedules, delegating work assignments, and directly supervising the assigned printing assembly, fabrication,
and/or print functions
- Inspecting all printed products
- Recommending and implementing procedural changes
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies involving the daily shipments
- Controlling labor, material, and supply expenses
- Performing inventory duties, including month-end and year-end
- Properly quoting new label requests
Requirements:
- Familiar with Mark-Andy 2200 and 830 Flexographic Machines, with technical and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot
and perform minor repairs is a plus
- 3 - 5 years of progressive supervisory and/or managerial experience
- Analytical, problem-solving, self-motivated, good communicator
- Familiar with Flexographic plate process
- Be able to function in a fast-pace, changing environment

Web Machine Operator

Description
The Web Machine Operator runs a machine that produces file folders and observes proper utilization to ensure completion of each job.
This position is responsible for:
- Setting up Web Press efficiently
- Verifying size, color, paper type, and ink color
- Checking proof against sample and spec sheet prior to approval
- Packing product in boxes, sealing, and affixing labels, then stacking product on skids
- Performing minor lubrication as required, wiping and keeping machines, tools, and work place clean
Requirements:

- Setting up and operating the Mark-Andy 2200 and 830 Flexographic printing system for production runs
- Calculating figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and basic algebra
- Demonstrating a quality-minded approach to manufacturing
- Performing routine maintenance and service on the assigned press
- Maintaining an orderly and clean work area to maximize production safety
Requirements:
- Ability to read and write English
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to stand for 8 hours
- Able to lift 50 lbs or heavier
- Printing trade school degree/experience a plus

- Setting up and operating the Mark-Andy 2200 and 830 printing system for production runs
- Making adjustments to the system as required
- Maintaining the operating and production logs
- Performing routine maintenance and service on the assigned press
- Keeping an orderly and clean work area to maximize production safety
- Monitoring production and quality of the product
Requirements:
- Possess some mechanical aptitude
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to stand for 8 hours
- Able to lift 50 lbs or heavier
- Trade schooling and/or technical degree a plus
